It’s a good week to be a Manchester United supporter.
In the space of a few days, top transfer target Antoine Griezmann reportedly told Atletico Madrid that he intends to leave this summer, United was named the richest in the world and, now, it appears that their top scorer is going nowhere.
United fans waited with bated breath for the decision of Zlatan Ibrahimovic on his future, with suggestions that the Swede could move to MLS to see out his career with a lucrative payday against lesser defences.
Ibrahimovic’s debut season in the Premier League was cut short when he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury last month and he announced that he would take time to consider his options after insisting that retirement was not on the cards, despite the severity of the injury.
Earlier this week, the centre-forward’s agent Mino Raiola maintained that Ibrahimovic would not leave Europe which gave United supporters some hope to cling to.
And Wednesday brought forth an even more solid indication that the 35-year-old wants to stay put with the Red Devils.
While speaking on talkSPORT, Raiola was asked outright by Jim White whether Ibrahimovic wanted to remain a United player and he responded with a convincing “Oh, yes!”
Mino Raiola tells us Zlatan would like to stay at @ManUtd but there are offers on the table and nothing is certain.

“He wants to stay in England he wants to stay at the top and if he sees that he can be a valuable asset for Manchester United, then why not Manchester United?
“He can be a valuable asset for some other top clubs also. [But] I think it is respectful to talk to Manchester United and see what all parties want.”
