‘Angry mode’ Paul Pogba reacts to Antoine Griezmann’s decision to stay in Spain

Griezmann indicated he'd be staying in Spain on Thursday night

Yeah, we’re getting sick of it all too.

Antoine Griezmann will not sign for Manchester United this summer. Or at least that’s the way things are looking for now. Being a Manchester United transfer saga, you wouldn’t put it past another report emerging by the end of today that claims the move is back on.

Still, on Thursday, Atleti were handed a transfer ban and United’s interest in the French international ‘cooled’. After this, Griezmann – 48 hours on from apparently asking to leave – was sending tweets and Instagram posts telling the world that he was more dedicated than ever to the Atletico Madrid cause.

In light of these developments, Paul Pogba has also used Instagram to apparently share his reaction to the news that his international colleague is staying put in the Spanish capital.

Pogba, who only last week was using Instagram to tease United fans that a move for Griezmann was imminent, shared a picture of the pair in training for the French team, with a caption that many have interpreted as being a reference to the breakdown of his friend’s move to Old Trafford.

‘Always have my guy, angry mode, ready for tomorrow. The face tho.’

Obviously, now that it seems Griezmann won’t be joining him in Manchester before the start of next season, Pogba is holding no grudges.

The pair are expected to be involved for France as they take on Paraguay in a friendly in Rennes on Friday evening.
