People absolutely loved Anthony Joshua’s appearance on the Graham Norton Show

Paul Moore

Charming, funny and an absolute gent.

Inside the ring, Anthony Joshua is an absolute monster as the reigning IBF, WBA (Super) and IBO heavyweight champion has become one of the biggest draws in the sport following his stunning victory over Klitschko in April.

Right now, ‘AJ’ is recuperating from the shoulder injury that he sustained in the fight, but as Eddie Hearne said, “you have got two more weeks in May, all of June and after that they will be thinking ‘right let’s get back in camp’. Even if you started back in camp in August, then you have September and October so end of October can work.”

We can’t wait to see him back.

Well, before Joshua gets back to hitting the bags, he has been on a charm offensive after recent appearances on Late Late Show with James Corden and the Graham Norton Show.

Ever since he came to prominence by winning Olympic gold, the British public have really taken to Joshua because not only is he supremely talented, but he has always struck us as someone that’s incredibly humble, likeable and grounded.

These qualities were on offer for everyone to see as Joshua stole the show on Graham Norton.

Aside from speaking articulately and passionately about his love of boxing – we reckon Rachel Weisz will definitely be in attendance at his next fight – ‘AJ’ also told some great stories about an encounter with Dr Dre, a previous ‘encounter’ with a fan that sat in the big red chair and why he still lives with his mother.

It’s fair to say that he won a few new admirers.
