The Frenchman says he doesn’t want to be a bit part player.
Now that Wenger is definitely ‘in’ (at least for the time being), talk amongst Arsenal fans had turned to whether they can hang onto superstars Alexis Sánchez and Mesut Özil in the transfer window. But it seems another player could be on his way out.
Sky Sports are reporting that West Ham United are trying to sign Olivier Giroud. The French striker signed a new contract in January, but he started eleven league games last season and says he doesn’t want to be a bit part player.

Olivier Giroud has definitely had his critics – but only Alexis Sánchez scored more league goals for Arsenal that Giroud last year, so the Frenchman would clearly need replacing if he went.
