This female futsal player was lucky to walk away from a horror attack in the Futsal Female Championship earlier this week.
After being fouled by an opposing defender, she lay on the ground smiling at gaining a clumsy free-kick.
But that infuriated her opponent, who let fly with a savage kick to the striker’s head when she wasn’t looking.
The victim was fortunate not to be knocked unconscious and, credit to her toughness, she jumped straight back on to her feet.
