He’s expected to join before United’s US tour starts on Sunday.

The Guardian are reporting that Romelu Lukaku is having his medical in the UCLA campus, Los Angeles ahead of his £75m move to Manchester United.

Given the eventful day surrounding the future of the Everton striker, nothing official has been confirmed yet, but it’s being widely reported that the Belgian will join up with Mourinho’s squad when they arrive in Los Angeles ahead of their five-game pre-season tour of America.

At the present moment, Lukaku is holidaying in LA with his close friend Paul Pogba, they also share the same agent, Mino Raiola.

If the 24-year-old does sign for United in the coming days, he will become their second signing of the summer following the purchase of Swedish defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

With only 54 goals scored in the league, Lukaku will be expected to add more firepower to United’s attack and the transfer should have ramifications for the futures of Wayne Rooney, Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata.

This being said, it appears that Mourinho has got his man.
