He probably just needed a change of scenery.
Mario Balotelli is already a changed man just days after returning to AC Milan, the club’s president Adriano Galliani has claimed.
In fact, ESPN report, the former Liverpool striker is so committed to the cause that he’s even rising above the standards set by coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.
“Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic often wants the players to have breakfast at 8.30 am., and he’s always there before 8,” Galliani is reported as saying.
“He’s probably realised that this is his last chance and I’m sure he won’t waste it. His technical ability has never been in question.”
Seeing as his new contract has pretty much outlawed any fun, some might say the 25-year-old has no chance but to knuckle down.
But if Milan can get the best out of him again it will all have been worthwhile.
