Wales have been ranked ahead of England for the first time in the history of the Fifa World Rankings.
In the latest set of rankings, England fall to 10th while Wales hold on to their highest ever position in 9th.
Wales have been moving up the rankings extremely quickly this year, but they seem to have plateaued for now.

Scotland have climbed one place to 31st while Northern Ireland drop one place to 41st behind Iran. Meanwhile, the Republic of Ireland’s poor run continues as they drop out of the top 50 and are now ranked 51st.
The top seven remains unchanged, with Argentina leading the way ahead of Belgium in second and World Champions Germany in third.
