First of all the disclaimer – this test is not scientific and do NOT try this at home.
Now we’ve got that out of the way, this is fascinating. We all know that alcohol is legal and LSD is not. Presumably this is because acid is seen as more dangerous and mind-altering than getting plastered on 10 pints.
But this ‘investigative journalist’ decided to carry out his own experiment to compare how an excessive amount of each substance effects his performance.
So he necked 15 shots in one hour for the alcohol test, and three tabs of LSD for the acid bit. Then he carried out a number of activities to compare the two. These included catching, dancing, drawing and an IQ test.
Watched in parallel the results are definitely eye-opening…and perhaps a little surprising too.

But as the man stresses:
“Excessive drinking as seen in this video can be extremely dangerous and lead to alcohol poisoning. Nothing I do should be recreated. Taking 3 tabs of LSD can be just as dangerous because you may not have real LSD-25…I performed this test under supervision and would not have done so otherwise…I do not promote the use of illegal substances.”
