Terms and Conditions: Cadbury’s Premier League ticket giveaway competition

Cadbury FC ticket giveaway – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram – Full terms and conditions

1. The prize draw is open to residents of the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland)  aged 18 years and over only, excluding employees of the Promoter or any other company linked to the prize draw in any way.

2. No purchase necessary to enter the draw.

3. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. No purchase necessary. Maximum of one prize can be won per person.

4. The prize draw is open from 12.00 Friday 17th November 2017 until 09.00 Monday 20th November 2017 (“Promotion Period”).

5. To Enter: Entrants have to visit either the JOE UK Facebook page (www.facebook.com/www.JOE.co.uk), Twitter page (@joe_co_uk) or Instagram page (@joe_co_uk), and reply under the Cadbury FC promotional post guessing how many current 2017-18 Premier League players feature in the promotional post. To be a valid entry, their reply must include the Premier League home club they would like to win tickets to see. Entrants will then be entered into a draw for their respective team of choice.

a. Entries stating more than one Premier League club will be invalid

6. The Prize: One pair of tickets to a Premier League match taking place in Matchweek 13 in the 2017-2018 Premier League season.

a. The available pairs of tickets are broken down as follows. All tickets are for home matches only and there are the following available match tickets for each team:

i. Burnley – 8 pairs

ii. Crystal Palace – 4 pairs

iii. Huddersfield – 8 pairs

iv. Southampton – 5 pairs

v. Swansea– 5 pairs

 

b. Entrants will only be eligible to enter the prize draw for tickets to the home matches of the club they included in their reply

c. Each Prize is for the winner and 1 guest of their choosing

d. Winner and guest must not be subject to a football banning order, banned from any sports events or on a list of known football “hooligans’’.

7. The winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries for their club of choice that are received during the Promotional Period within two days of the end of the Promotion Period.

8. Entries are limited to one entry per person.

9. Internet access and a personal email and either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account are required for entry.

10. Winners will be notified by JOE UK via a reply to their winning comment on the Cadbury FC promotional post. They will be requested to DM JOE UK to share their first name, last name, email address, contact number and delivery address so that the prize can be fulfilled.

11. Winners will have 24hrs to send JOE UK a Direct Message with their name, email address, contact number and delivery address to claim their prize or an alternate winner will be selected.

12. The promoter will not be responsible if the winner is unable to attend the games allocated for their team.

13. Once details have been sent to JOE UK, Prizes will be sent via post a minimum of 3 business days prior to the match in which they are attending. The tickets must be signed for at the delivery address.

14. Winners are responsible for their own travel and accommodation cost in attending their selected match

15. No correspondence will be entered into (unless entrant opts in) and the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding.

16. The prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any alternatives in whole or in part. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. However, the Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries.

18. If for any reason any aspect of this prize draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize draw, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw, or invalidate any affected entries.

19. The winner shall, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity, photography and any filming) surrounding the winning of the prizes, for no further consideration, and they consent to the Promoter using their names and images in promotional material.

20. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury or death caused by our negligence or fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

21. No bulk, machine generated, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. Entries will only be allowed in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any attempted interference with the running of this promotion will result in a void entry.

22. No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. No responsibility will be taken for telecommunication or website error.

23. If a winning entry or entrant is deemed not to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the entry or entrant will be discarded and the prize will be allocated to a reserve entrant.

24. By entering the promotion users agree to receive communication about their progress in the promotion and important messages regarding how to improve their performance, deadlines and results.

25. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and counties of residence of all winners.  Each winner may be required to participate in the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities and by entering the prize draw consents to such participation.

26. The names and counties of residence of the prize winners will be available by sending a correctly stamped envelope/postcard addressed JOE Media to the following Address: Eagle House, 167 City Road, London, EC1V1AW within 2 months of the Closing Date.

27. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this prize draw or communicating with entrants. See our privacy policy at www.cadbury.co.uk/privacy. The participant may withdraw consent to such use of personal information by writing to the Promoter or by using the opt-out process outlined in the Promoter’s privacy policy.

28. Entry to the Premier League stadiums is subject to normal conditions of ticket entry. All tickets for preferred club selections will be “home” tickets and you must be a home or neutral supporter to attend the match. Away fans are not permitted in the “home” section of a Premier League stadium. Winners are subject to screening by Premier League football clubs (“Clubs”) based on their conditions of entry and we are not liable if you or any person accompanying you is refused entry because you do not meet these Conditions.

29. Each ticket is issued by the relevant Club subject to the terms and conditions of entry, which are available from the Club and will be provided to you with your prize. The use of a ticket to enter a Club’s stadium constitutes acceptance of that Club’s terms and conditions of entry. The ticket shall remain at all times the property of the issuing Club.

30. Except mobile phones used for personal and private use only, you may not bring into (or use within) any Club’s stadium any equipment that is capable of recording or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data in relation to a match or any aspect of it

31. The Clubs reserve the right to eject from a stadium any person who fails to comply with applicable terms or conditions of entry.

32. If you are the subject of a current Banning Order under the Football Spectators Act 1989, you will be refused entry to the competition and to all Premier League Club stadiums.

33. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
