Just in case you were living under a rock or don’t have any friends who are Manchester United supporters constantly harping on about it, Anthony Martial opened his account at Old Trafford with a late goal on his debut against Liverpool.
The French forward came on for Juan Mata during United’s 3-1 victory over their arch-rivals on Saturday evening with the score at 2-0.
After Liverpool’s Christian Benteke found the net with a glorious strike in the 84th minute, Martial made his mark by finding the net two minutes later.
And one perspicacious United fan predicted the exact minute that the United new boy would get on the scoresheet.
