Get a grip.
We’re not sure what’s more tedious: people being faux-outraged by stuff, or people being offended by people being offended. It seems there’s a whole army of snowflakes who get really upset about people (potentially) getting really upset about things. And yet they don’t see the irony of their behaviour.
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 launched on Tuesday night, but with a twist. The first eight housemates to enter the show were all women, to mark the centenary of the female vote in the UK in 1918. [Note: Only a partial women’s vote was allowed that year, for women over the age of 30 who were householders, the wives of householders, occupiers of property with an annual rent of £5, and graduates of British universities.]
But this all-female launch hasn’t gone down with everyone. There are people out there who are offended on behalf of men, and say it is sexist. Or rather they seem to be offended because they think women would hypothetically be offended if the roles were reversed. If that makes any sense to you.
They should all chill tbh, seeing as male contestants will be entering the house in coming days…

Imagine the backlash if it was an all male BB house. It seems these days sexism towards men is just fine. #CelebrityBigBrother
