It’s traditional that the post-Christmas period sees even the biggest junk food junkies and couch potatoes feign an interest in #CleanLiving and spin classes – but a deal at Tesco has swiftly brought the pretence to an end.
Members of deal forum HotUKDeals have clocked that Tesco are selling big 871g metal tins of Quality Streets for the price of £1.25. And, as you can probably imagine, people are ditching their sweat bands and jogging shorts to flock there in droves.
The deal is incredible when you consider a 250g box of the delicious chocolates usually costs you around £3 at the same retailer.

There’s no limit to the number you can take home, so people have been filling up entire trolleys with the tins.
We currently have confirmation that Hemel Hempstead, Balby Doncaster, Andover Hampshire, Derby Mickleover, Mansfield, Deysbrook and London Edmonton are stocking the cut price chocs – but as they’re trying to clear their stock: when they’re gone, they’re gone.
However, sadly for anybody too lazy to leave the house, the deal isn’t available online so you’ll have to get down there yourself.
Happy shopping, mate, I guess the ‘get fit’ New Years resolution can wait till next year.
