The Irish band have paid tribute to their leader.
Tributes continue to pour in from far and wide following the sudden passing of Dolores O’Riordan on Monday, with everyone from pivotal figures in the music industry to Irish President Michael D. Higgins taking time to remember the singer.
Remaining band members Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler issued their own moving statement via the official Cranberries Twitter and Facebook accounts on Monday night.
“We are devastated on the passing of our friend Dolores,” it begins.
“She was an extraordinary talent and we feel very privileged to have been part of her life from 1989 when we started The Cranberries. The world has lost a true artist today. Noel, Mike and Fergal.”
