The BBC’s Garth Crooks has developed a bit of a reputation as far as his Team of the Week selections are concerned.
But the former Tottenham forward has finally given up all pretense of ‘proper’ formations, selecting five forwards in a bizarre starting XI.
Crooks went with three at the back, while Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma is rewarded for his imperious centre-back performance against Arsenal with…a spot as a holding midfielder.
Zouma and West Ham’s Dimitri Payet would be kept busy if this was a real team, holding fort behind a front five of Son Heung-Min, Callum Wilson, Jamie Vardy, Anthony Martial and Odion Ighalo…but there was no room for two-goal Graziano Pelle.
It certainly got people talking on Twitter…

Crooks has no space for a Referee of the Week, although he did have some strong words for Mike Dean after Chelsea’s victory over Arsenal.
And this carried over into his Team of the Week, because why wouldn’t it?
