You’d imagine this would be one of the last things he’d want to do in retirement.

When Alex Ferguson stepped down as Manchester United manager, the Scot said he’d have plenty to keep him busy.

He would travel, attend sporting events and continue his duty as a club ambassador. He even gave a lecture on management at Harvard University.

Ferguson was speaking at an event to launch his new book Leading, where he was also asked about a range of other topics.

He gave his thoughts on Anthony Martial’s £35 million move to Old Trafford.

Advice for football managers.

His nickname for Gary Neville.
