Tottenham Hotspur fans woke up fuming on Thursday morning – and not just because their side lost to arch-rivals Arsenal.
The North London enemies met in the third round of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night, with the Gunners beating Spurs 2-1 thanks to a brace from unlikely hero Mathieu Flamini.
But Spurs supporters were left riled by the fact that the certain members of the away support took it upon themselves to inflict damage on their famous stadium.
Arsenal fans were filmed tearing up the vinyl hoardings around the upper tier of White Hart Lane, with club sayings like ‘THE GAME IS ABOUT GLORY’ and ‘COME ON YOU SPURS’ ripped apart by the joyous culprits.

There were also skirmishes outside the ground, with the local constabulary intervening to keep the rival sets of supporters apart…
