The Champions League quarter-final draw has been made at Uefa’s Nyon headquarters.
With Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham all bowing out at the last 16 stage of the competition, Liverpool and Manchester City are left to fly the flag for the Premier League in the last eight. Now, following the conclusion of the draw, we know one of these two teams will definitely progress to the semi-finals.
Yes, that’s right. Liverpool and City will face each other for a place in the last four. The two remaining English clubs were the last two teams drawn out by Andriy Shevchenko on Friday morning, setting up two mouth-watering encounters next month.
