Dream job klaxon. Know anyone that’s up for this?
When it comes to binge-watching Netflix, we all have a friend that’s more than capable of rivalling Chandler and Joey in the lazy stakes. You know, those people that are happy to sit on their chairs for hours, take pride in their ass groove and basically live off a healthy diet of crisps, Maltesers and munchies while watching endless amounts of TV. Best. Life. Ever!
Well, now is your lucky day because a position has opened with the online streaming giant and it’s perfect for any film and TV buffs.
Ok, what does the job actually involve?
Well, as per the official description, the lucky candidate will have to “categorise television series, specials, and movies for our 100+ million users. You will be tagging, rating, researching, and enhancing title-level metadata for the Netflix Originals catalogue in a high-volume, high-quality, deadline-driven environment.”
Basically, you watch TV for hours on end and categorise the genres of particular shows, films and features.
The ideal candidate will be “passionate about movies and TV with a deep knowledge of the entertainment industry” and to make things even better, the position is in sunny California.
Hell, we would travel to the moon if it meant getting a job where you sit down and watch TV all day.
If you – or any of your mates – are interested in the position, more details can be found here. Best of luck!
