“And still you treat me like a stranger.”
Plan B has revealed a beautiful set of visuals to accompany the release of his new single “Stranger”, taken from his upcoming new album Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose.
Combining slow-moving choreography with some stunning lighting, the video for “Stranger” is very artsy, and probably not what you’d expect from Plan B. But that’s the point, always expect the unexpected from Ben Drew.
He’s an artist’s artist. Drawing inspiration from anywhere he can, his latest video has more in common with classical music and sculpture artists than it does the Hip Hop culture he was birthed into, and for that very reason is why it’s brilliant.
One must point out that respect has to be shown to the author of the following YouTube comment left on the video:
“Respect to the people in this video. Changing the duvet cover is never easy.”
Quality!
If this and Plan B’s previous teasers are anything to go by then his new album is going to be on hell of a varied affair that touches upon different types of human emotion, social issues, and growth – we can’t wait.
