Cruel.
Mo Salah lasted just half an hour of Liverpool’s Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
After playing a huge role in the Reds’ run to the Kiev final, the Egyptian appeared to injure his arm after falling awkwardly after contact from Sergio Ramos. Despite an attempt to play on, Salah broke down in tears minutes later and was soon substituted, replaced by Adam Lallana.

Salah had ended the season by breaking the Premier League goals record previously jointly held by Alan Shearer, Luis Suarez and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The injury not only came as a significant blow for Liverpool’s hopes of winning their sixth European Cup, but will also be cause for concern his national team.
Salah also played a big part in Egypt’s qualification for the World Cup in Russia next month – the first tournament they’ve qualified for since 1990.
Although it’s too early to know the extent of the injury, this will raise concerns that it could see him miss out.
