He joins from Doncaster
Neil Redfearn has been appointed manager of Liverpool Ladies, after leaving Doncaster Belles.
Redfearn took over at Doncaster Belles in December 2017 and led them to winning the WSL 2, the club’s first trophy since 1994.
He takes over from Scott Rogers, who departed four days ago after working at the club for six years.
Redfearn had a 26 year playing career, during which he played for 20 different clubs.
“It is a massive privilege and real honour for me to have been appointed as manager of Liverpool Ladies,” said Redfearn.
“It is a team with big potential which should be challenging for trophies on a regular basis.
“Liverpool Football Club is a huge club and I have every confidence that we will be competing at the top end of the Women’s Super League this season. I am over the moon to have been given this opportunity and cannot wait to get started.”
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Neil Redfearn as our new manager.
