It’s four times the size of a regular 8oz steak
I don’t know if someone at Morrisons has got proper into selling huge food, or what, but recently it seems like half of the stuff they come out with is giant sized products at pretty reasonable prices – like massive kegs of Dark Fruits, or Yorkshire pudding pizzas, or monster cafe breakfasts.
I’m not complaining anyway, in fact, they’ve got a new offering coming up and it might just be their best yet. In honour of Father’s Day the retailer is launching Britain’s biggest supermarket steak.
Weighing in at nearly a kilo, the ‘Daddy of all Steaks’ is four times the size of a typical 8oz rump steak and is approximately 30 centimetres wide. The absolute unit of a steak will cost just £8.16 for 32oz.
Matt Slater, Butchery Buyer at Morrisons said: “We know that many dads love steak on Father’s Day. This monster is an absolute bargain at less than £9 and we hope our dads will love it!”
The £9/kg rump steak deal will be made available nationwide until Father’s Day on Sunday 17th June – see you in store, then.
