The influx of refugees into Europe has seen some fantastic gestures from the world of football.
In Germany – one of the countries that has seen the biggest number of displaced persons enter its borders – Bayern Munich were one of the first clubs to offer their help by providing camps which offered food, German lessons and football equipment for children.
Weeks later, a video of one of Bayern’s stars buying and delivering gifts to refugees has emerged.
Austrian defender David Alaba can be seen distributing trainers to a number of grateful recipients – what a lovely bloke.
