Poor Stuart Pearce.
Good old Psycho just likes a bit of balance and a bit of form but he copped a load of flack for innocently picking his combined XI between Manchester United and City’s current squads.
Pearce and Tony Gale appeared on Sky Sports News ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby and they went through both Louis van Gaal’s and Manuel Pellegrini’s squads to put together the best side between the two.
They only differed with four players but football fans far and wide took to Twitter to get at Pearce over his decisions.
Naming just one City player in his outfield though, he was never going to receive unanimous backing.

Stuart Pearce has just picked a combined United/City team with no Aguero or Silva in it. Words fail me. He really is a Psycho. #clueless

"@TheOddsBible: What has Stuart Pearce been smoking? pic.twitter.com/aFCmIXcHyZ" genuinely the worst footballing thing I'll see this year

Why are people surprised about Stuart Pearce? He put David James up front in the final game of the season when we needed a goal retard

*Sees Stuart Pearce trending on Twitter*
*Takes only a few seconds to realize it's because he said something stupid*

Stuart Pearce, a man who prefers Marouane Fellaini to David Silva at no 10, was in charge of developing young English talent

How have neither of Stuart Pearce and Tony Gale picked Zabaleta at right back? And no Herrera in either team too! #Idiots

What is wrong with Stuart Pearce? No Silva/Aguero/Zabaleta? Can't believe this man was a Premier League manager. pic.twitter.com/qiI1Vhlnrp
