Everton youngster Ademola Lookman could be set for a permanent move to the German Bundesliga, with Red Bull Leipzig reportedly interested in bringing the player to the club.

Lookman spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, making 11 appearances and scoring five goals as the club narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification.

The 20-year-old joined Everton from Charlton Athletic for an initial £7.5 million in 2017, before being allowed to go on loan by then manager Sam Allardyce.

Everton had initially attempted to send the youngster on loan to Championship side Derby County, but Lookman insisted on a different move.

According to reports in Germany, Leipzig have already made two bids for the player, but both have been rejected by the Toffees.

Despite this, the Bundesliga side are expected to return with a third offer, with Everton’s proposed move for Watford winger Richarlison expected to open the Merseyside club to the transfer.
