The left-back is Celtic through and through
Kieran Tierney has hinted at the prospect of staying at Celtic for the entirety of his career.
The highly rated left-back has been linked with moves to Tottenham, Everton and Manchester United since breaking into the Celtic team under Brendan Rodgers, but he has recently come out and said he’ll never be desperate for a move away from Parkhead.
He had the chance to move to Goodison Park this summer but has no regrets about missing out on the big money Premier League move.
“I know, and my family know, that since day one we have been committed to Celtic,” the Scotland star said.
“That’s 100 per cent,” he added. “In football, you never what might happen next but I have never been anything else than focused at Celtic. It’s always been Celtic for me.”
“I’ll never be in a hurry to leave this club. No matter what the situation is. But I can’t predict what will happen in the future.”
“There was obviously a lot of talk at the start of the transfer window during pre-season, more than before, but for me it’s just about switching off and focusing on Celtic.”
