Jamie Vardy praises Harry Maguire’s “slab head” after late Leicester winner

Jamie Vardy loves Harry Maguire

It’s no surprise, but Jamie Vardy loves Maguire for a multitude of reasons. He loves playing alongside him for England, for Leicester City and, most notably, he loves the size of his head.

He loves the size of his head so much that he even sneaked into a press conference in which his Leicester teammate was taking questions from journalists, purely to ask him exactly how big his head is.

Vardy was absent for Leicester’s victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s on Saturday after a red card against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, but he obviously enjoyed watching the game at home.

Things were looking tricky for the Foxes when they fell behind to a Ryan Bertrand goal at the start of the second half, before a timely leveler from Demarai Gray four minutes later.

The came injury time and up stepped Slab Head, Harry Maguire, whose 92nd minute stunner sealed the win.

Immediately taking to Twitter, Vardy congratulated him the only way he knows how – by calling him “slab head”. Beautiful to see.
