So what was all that business about the London medical?
Yaya Toure’s agent, Dimitry Seluk, sparked a frenzy of speculation earlier this week when he announced that his client had passed a medical in England’s capital.
Seluk spent the next few hours rejecting supporters’ guesses about whether Toure was joining West Ham or Crystal Palace, dropping hints along the way.

On Sunday evening, Toure arrived in Athens to put pen to paper on his move to Olympiacos, with the Ivorian midfielder returning to the club for whom he made 26 appearances in the 2005/06 season.
The Greek club went on to win the double with Toure, who had been proclaimed ‘the new Patrick Vieira’ at the time, but he moved on to Monaco the following season.
Toure parted ways with Manchester City at the end of last season after winning three Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups.
The 35-year-old was welcomed back with open arms by Olympiacos supporters on Sunday night, ahead of their clash with PAS Giannina FC.

Toure has European football to look forward to at the Karaiskakis Stadium this season after Olympiacos progressed to the group stages of the Europa League at the expense of Burnley on Thursday.
Olympiacos will face AC Milan, Real Betis and F91 Dudelange in the coming months with Toure pulling the strings in the centre of the park.
