Zlatan Ibrahimović scored his 500th career goal last night
And he did do in the most Zlatan way imaginable, with a roundhouse kick volley. It was truly stunning, and his athleticism should be admired, given his age.

However, he does have a tendency to make everything about himself, doesn’t he? Even when his team loses, Zlatan wins.
After scoring the landmark goal last night against Toronto, he said:
“I am happy for Toronto, because they will be remembered as my 500th victim.”
LA Galaxy lost the game 5-3, so their players might disagree over who were the “victims” of this particular fixture.
The Galaxy are currently eighth in the Western Conference of MLS, 13 points away from the league leaders, Sporting KC.
But Zlatan scored, and that’s all that matters.
