Love him or hate him, Mesut Özil has been producing the goods of late.
The German international has been known to blow hot and cold for Arsenal, but the victories over Manchester United and Watford have seen him return to his glorious best.
Still just 27, Özil has equalled one of football’s long-standing records.

Or at least we think he has.
Mesut Özil needs just one more assist to break Juan Riquelme's all time assist record of 181 #Arsenal pic.twitter.com/aIkxzFU6O3

Maybe not, actually.

Still, we doubt Arsenal fans care all that much after a 3-0 win that keeps them second in the Premier League after nine games.
So Özil is either 3, 1 or 0 assists away from equalling Riquelme's record.
Whichever way it's amazing and he's ours #Arsenal #AFCLive
