An index from comparison site uSwitch has identified the best and worst places to live in the UK, and it’s bad news for Bradford.
The Yorkshire city was rated the worst place to live in the entire United Kingdom, based on factors including employment rates, house prices and even weather.
Top of the tree was Edinburgh, one of four Scottish areas ranked among the best places to live, climbing from 98th spot in 2014.
Last year’s number one – Solihull in the West Midlands – came a close second, with Hertfordshire rounding out the top three.
Northern Ireland did not come out of the index well, with three parts of the country featuring among the 10 worst places in the UK.
