The pair both suffered injuries during the international break
Paris Saint-Germain will be without both Kylian Mbappé and Neymar for their Ligue 1 match against Toulouse this afternoon, after the pair both suffered injuries during the international break.
Mbappé fell awkwardly on his shoulder during France’s friendly against Uruguay, while Neymar picked up what looked like a groin injury just six minutes into Brazil’s match against Cameroon.
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel said in his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s game against Toulouse that neither player would be risked this weekend, but both could return for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Liverpool.
“We will not take risks with Neymar and Mbappé, tomorrow they won’t be available. They’ll possibly return for Liverpool,” Tuchel said.

PSG play Liverpool at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night in their penultimate group stage match. The French champions are currently third in their group – widely regarded as the group of death – one point behind Liverpool and Napoli, who both have six points from four matches.
Wednesday’s match will have a huge impact on deciding who progresses to the round of 16 this year, and considering PSG’s desperation to win this tournament for the first time, a group stage exit will be unacceptable.
Tuchel will therefore probably field his €360m attacking duo, even if they are not both 100% fit.
Liverpool will not fear PSG either way, having beaten them at Anfield with both Mbappé and Neymar playing.
