Pep Guardiola is seemingly on a mission to be linked with every top Premier League management job.
Having hinted in his autobiography that he’d one day like to manage at Old Trafford, the Bayern boss has persistently been named as a successor to Manuel Pellegrini at Manchester City.
Now though, it appears that Guardiola has no intention of a move to Manchester.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, Guardiola would prefer to manage a club in London.
With the Spaniard’s deal at the Allianz Arena due to expire at the end of the season, it appears that he is willing to move to the Premier League in the near future if an extension with Bayern can’t be agreed.
This news would see Chelsea as a possible destination for Guardiola, especially if Jose Mourinho is unable to turn around their poor start to the season.
The Arsenal job appears slightly less likely with Arsene Wenger showing no signs of departing the Emirates.
Despite reportedly preferring a move to the capital, the news is unlikely to deter Manchester City’s owners from making a move for the ex Barcelona man, should Manuel Pellegrini leave the club.
