Jose Mourinho may return to Real Madrid if he’s shown the door by Manchester United
Mourinho is believed to be on good terms with Madrid president Florentino Perez despite his dismissal from the club in 2013.
The Portuguese coach managed Madrid for three years and maintained a 71.9 percent win record at the club, the best win percentage of his career.
Madrid have struggled this season with just seven wins from 14 league games, a run which has seen them sack former Spain manager Julen Lopetegui in October and replace him with Santiago Solari on an interim basis.
Following last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Southampton, Mourinho is under increasing pressure to improve things at United but is reportedly interested in a return to Madrid should he be relieved of his duties at Old Trafford.

Mourinho’s future has been a subject of constant speculation this season but he insisted in October that his future remained with the Manchester club.
“No. My future is here — I have a contract and until the final of my contract I only think about Manchester United. I am happy to stay here longer than that,” said Mourinho, who is contracted at United until 2020.
