The Liverpool players have been doing their club proud on and off the pitch
Following on from the sterling work done by Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana on Sunday, young right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has also been doing his bit to spread Christmas cheer around Liverpool this festive season.
20-year-old Alexander-Arnold, who is an ambassador for the An Hour for Others charity, paid for the Christmas dinners of 60 underprivileged families from the Liverpool area and even bought presents for all of the children.
Sharing pictures from the event he organised alongside the charity, the local boy turned Premier League star said:
“To see the looks on the kid’s faces today is something I’ll never forget. Had an unbelievable day with these families and elderly from local areas.
What An Hour For Others do for deprived families and individuals is life-changing and I’m honoured to be a part of that.”

The event took place at Hotel Tia, with Alexander-Arnold taking time out between training sessions on Christmas day in preparation for Liverpool’s Boxing Day match against Newcastle United.
According to the BBC, there were even Everton fans happy to see him, with Liberty, eight, saying she was “completely fine” with him being a Red.
Born in West Derby himself, Alexander-Arnold has strong ties to Liverpool and An Hour for Others summed it up when they tweeted stating he was simply “a young scouser who cares about the city.”
Kevin Morland, founder of An Hour for Others, also told the BBC: “He’s just a normal lad – it’s a genuine thing, it’s from his heart – he understands the importance of sticking together when times are hard.”
