It’s not looking good for Jose Mourinho.
At what point does a dip in form become decline? When does a poor run of form descend into crisis? And how the hell are Jose Mourinho and Chelsea going to get out of this mess?
The Premier League champions’ 1-3 loss to Liverpool was their sixth of the season, and third at home this term.
Until this point in his career, Mourinho’s teams were famed for their home records in domestic competition.
He went undefeated at Stamford Bridge during his first spell, and back in April 2011, Mourinho suffered his first home defeat in nine years, when Real Madrid lost to Sporting Gijon.
No manager, during their first 100 home games in the Premier League, has a better record…
All of which puts this incredible stat into perspective…
mourinho has lost as many home league games in the past three months as he lost in the previous 13 years

Mourinho has lost more games at home in the past three months than in the previous 13 years.
Since 2002, the 52-year-old has had stints in charge of Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and a second spell at Stamford Bridge. Never has he experienced anything like his current woes.
Will he get the chance to suffer a fourth month home defeat this season?
