Lukaku also admitted he is a huge, huge fan of Antonio Conte, for some strange, unknown reason
Romelu Lukaku scored a brace for the other Red Devils – the Belgium National Team – as they beat Scotland 3-0 in their European Championship qualification game on Tuesday evening.
He also did this.

So… a mixed bag, I guess.
Anyway, after the game, Big Rom made some rather surprising comments with regard to Serie A and indeed, his future at Manchester United.
Speaking to reporters post-match, Lukaku admitted: “I am a big Serie A fan and those that know me know I’ve always wanted to play in Italy. Now with Cristiano Ronaldo arriving and Sarri going to Juventus, Ancelotti at Napoli and Conte – who, for me, is the best manager in the world – it will be exciting next season.”
He also added, and this is the interesting part: “I have already made a decision about my future but I cannot reveal it yet as I am still under contract with Manchester United.”
Kinda sounds a tiny bit like he’s leaving United, doesn’t it? For Inter Milan? Yeah. It does maybe sound a little bit like that. All put about as subtly as some of his first touches.
It’s not the first time Lukaku has been close to potentially playing under Conte, either, after he told Sky Sports earlier this year: “In 2014 when I left Chelsea outright, I could have moved to Juventus. The Bianconeri came forward but something didn’t feel right. I said no, Everton bought me and the day after that Conte decided to leave the team.”
Will Mauro Icardi be moving the other way as part of the deal should Lukaku join the Nerazzurri? Maybe Milan Skriniar to bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s rather unattractive selection of central defenders? How about Roberto Gagliardini to hold the midfield?
I, for one, am only very mildly excited to find out.
