Despite recent criticism of Wayne Rooney’s performances, Louis van Gaal has decided to stick with the striker for Manchester United’s Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow.
United have drawn their last three matches 0-0, leading to many supporters calling for change in the team’s front three – namely Rooney dropping to the bench.
But Van Gaal continues to show faith in his captain, and will be hoping Rooney repays him tonight…
