Tom Hardy needs to work on it
If there’s one thing that actors have struggles with for as long as acting has existed, it’s accents. Some of the greatest actors who have ever lived have struggled with depicting certain voices, and for some reason, English, Welsh, Irish and Scottish are particularly tough for some.
There have been many depictions of the Welsh accent in popular television and film in recent years, so with that in mind we got a Welsh person to watch some of the best and worst and judge them.
From Tom Hardy’s questionable Welsh in Locke to Matt Lucas (in)famous role of Dafydd Thomas in Little Britain, nothing is spared.
"Tom Hardy, your Welsh accent needs work, mate. Honestly."
