It’s come a long way
EA Sports’ FIFA series is one of the most popular video game franchises of all time. Every year, without fail, millions of people purchase the latest iteration of the game, and its live service, via FIFA Ultimate Team, makes the company an absolutely astonishing amount of money on a daily basis.
The game first appeared on shelves in late 1993 with FIFA International Soccer. It was popular straight away, despite its extremely rudimentary graphics.
With each iteration, the graphics progressed a touch, with some enormous jumps when new generations came along. This is the evolution of FIFA‘s visuals, from 1994 until now.
FIFA has been around for more than 25 years and a lot has changed.
