United’s fans are being asked to walk out of the Brentford game 17 minutes early
A group of Manchester United fans are urging their fellow supporters to stage a walkout during the final home game of the season in protest at the Glazer family’s ownership of the club.
United host Brentford at Old Trafford on Monday night and supporters group The 1958 are asking fans to join them in walking out in the 73rd minute.
17 minutes for 17 years of Glazer ownership
By leaving 17 minutes early – a minute for every year the Glazers have owned United – the group hope a powerful message will be sent to United’s American owners.
Supporters have also been asked by the group to meet by the Trinity Statue outside the ground’s East Stand an hour before kick-off.
Share, retweet, let’s get the message to all Reds! 🇾🇪

The 1958 vow to maintain protests against Glazers
The 1958 have staged protest marches before United’s last two home games, both attracting hundreds of supporters.
Before United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Thursday, the group told JOE they intend to sustain the protest into next season – adding that the arrival of Erik ten Hag in the summer would not deter them.

On the field, United have endured a wretched season. Hopes of winning a trophy came to an end in March and the club are all but mathematically out of the race for a Champions League place.
