Nobody tell Roy Keane or Graeme Souness about this
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has taken to Twitter to announce that he is joining a competitive Call of Duty team called Verdansk FC.
On Tuesday, the French star tweeted out a cryptic message to his followers, saying “TOMORROW ? “, a tweet which understandably sent many of his followers into overdrive regarding its meaning.

The replies to the tweet were filled with gifs of Jadon Sancho – perhaps Pogba was going all ITK? – but in truth it was always likely to be a commercial venture.
And so it was, as Pogba announced that he was joining Verdansk Sparks, the team which plays in the stadium in Warzone‘s battle royale map, as part of a partnership with Call of Duty.
Time to start my next chapter with #VerdanskFC. This team is going to be 🔥!!!

We’re sure his news will be greeted in a completely normal way by users of social media, and that Pogba will definitely not be inundated with helpful advice that he should focus on his football. Definitely not.
