Oof. Ghana aren’t playing.
You’ll know by now how fond we are of Nigeria’s football kits of late. They have very quickly become the market leaders in must-have football gear for fans and neutrals alike. Their iconoclastic designs and a very welcome divergence from the norm makes them stand a mile apart. Of course a lot of credit goes to Nike for realising that people want something different and something unique to the culture of that particular nation.

Well now it seems that PUMA have taken the baton and decided to fight fire with fire with a beautifully unique design for Ghana’s new change unique. They’ve done away with boring templates and identikit (excuse the pun) manufacture to produce to something dripping with unique character and style.
Of course it is based on the national colours of red, green and yellow, with the latter being the dominant hue. The design incorporates bolds blocks and stripes, with stars (from Ghana’s flag) being a reoccurring motif. What do you think? Are we looking at the new epitome of style for this year’s football kits, or does Nigeria still reign supreme?
