Chelsea see Cristiano Ronaldo as the answer to all their problems, according to Spanish reports.

Madrid-based newspaper AS are reporting that Blues owner Roman Abramovich is preparing a massive offer to lure Cristiano Ronaldo away from Real Madrid.

In order to secure the deal, Chelsea are reportedly willing to offload Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic in order to raise the requisite £80m or so to fund the transfer. The paper suggests that Hazard could be offered in a part-exchange deal.

Although Ronaldo’s current contract at the Bernabeu doesn’t end until 2018, there has been increased speculation about his future at the club in recent times.

AS add that PSG and Manchester United are also keen on signing the Portuguese superstar.

AS Ronaldo Chelsea

The Chelsea rumours appear to stem from comments Ronaldo made at the recent premiere of his documentary in London, which Jose Mourinho was in attendance.

AS have a quote from Ronaldo saying, “Go back to train with Mou? Why not? Nobody knows the future.”
