Sitting on the bench hasn’t hurt Memphis Depay’s popularity with Manchester United fans apparently.
The Dutch winger apparently has the best-selling jersey in the Premier League this season, with only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo beating him for worldwide sales.
Speaking following the release of the club’s results for the first quarter of the financial year, Ed Woodward said that Memphis currently has the third highest-selling jersey in the world, while German captain Bastian Schweinsteiger saw his jersey sales rise from 31st overall to fourth.

The high sales numbers are due to a number of factors, but will no doubt have been helped by the club making a number of big-name signings while also launching a new kit.
