Louis van Gaal just made things even worse for Man United goalkeeper Victor Valdes

This is harsh...

Things have gone from bad, to worse, to f**king terrible for Victor Valdes at Manchester United.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper has faced the humiliation of being frozen out of first team action by Louis van Gaal.

United had tried to sell Valdes over the summer after the Spanish ‘keeper reportedly refused to play in the reserves.

This resulted in the former Barcelona stopper being forced to train at different times of the day from David De Gea and Sergio Romero.

Now Goal claim that Van Gaal is threatening to fine Valdes if he has not left the Carrington training ground by the time the first team arrive.

The harsh new orders mean Valdes effectively can’t interact with the first team squad, and if he breaks the rules he could face financial punishment.

What next? Are they going to make him train, alone, in the dark…in a clown costume?

That mooted move to Newcastle United isn’t looking so bad after all.
