He was admitted to hospital on Monday
Dr. Dre has said he is “doing great” as he recovers in hospital after suffering a brain aneurism.
The rapper and producer was taken to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday, according to TMZ.

“I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”

TMZ reports that Dre, aged 55, is currently under the care of his medical team. At the time of writing, the team reportedly did not know what caused the aneurism.

Following his admission to hospital, fellow artists Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube wished Dre a speedy recovery.
“Send your love and prayers to the homie Dr Dre,” said Ice Cube, while Snoop Dogg wrote on Instagram: “GET WELL DR DRE WE NEED U CUZ.”
