Rumours had emerged that the pair had “stirred up feelings” for each other.
David Schwimmer has responded to the suggestions that he and Jennifer Aniston were getting closer to each other in the aftermath of the Friends reunion show earlier this year.
A source had said that after the reunion episode, Schwimmer had spent some “quality time” at Aniston’s house.
They told Closer magazine: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.”
Of course, this got fans extremely excited, especially after Schwimmer admitted during the reunion show that the onscreen couple had been “crushing hard on each other” but never got together because one of them was always in a relationship.

But I bring you bad news Friends stans. It doesn’t look like this is the one where they got together.
According to HuffPost UK, a representative for Schwimmer has said that there is no truth to the suggestion that the pair may be anything more than friends.
Speaking in the Friends reunion show, Schwimmer described his relationship with Aniston as “like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary.”
Well it seems that, for now at least, the pair’s ships will continue to sail on past each other.
