Medics have entered the stands with a stretcher as both sets of players have been taken off the pitch at Vicarage Road
Play has been suspended in the game between Watford and Chelsea due to a medical emergency in the stands at Vicarage Road.
Both sets of players have been taken off the pitch after 13 minutes after Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso spotted a supporter in the stands calling for help.
Medical staff from both clubs went over to aid the supporter with one person at the game taking to Twitter saying that they could see a stretcher being taken into the upper tier of the Graham Taylor stand.
He said: “A yellow stretcher has now been brought up into the upper tier of the Graham Taylor Stand as paramedics assist the stricken fan with play halted between Watford and Chelsea here at Vicarage Road. Unfortunately the incident looks serious.”

Amazon Prime have been informed that players will not return to the pitch until they know that they are able to continue to play.
The news comes after a Newcastle United supporter was taken ill during their game with Tottenham Hotspur at St James’ Park in October.
